Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor fight favorite has been named

Former UFC double champion Conor McGregor, who announced a fight against Michael Chandler the day before, will enter the octagon as a slight favorite.

Currently, the odds on the Irishman’s victory are 1.833 (54.55% probability), while the American’s success is rated at odds of 2 (50.00% probability).

Bookmakers published the starting odds shortly after Conor McGregor posted a video on social media in which he stated that his fight against Michael Chandler will take place on June 29 in Las Vegas and will take place within the middleweight division.

The bout will be the main event of the annual numbered event with which the world’s strongest league concludes International Fight Week, traditionally held in Las Vegas.

Conor McGregor, 35, will return to the octagon three years after his final match of the trilogy against Dustin Puryear, in which he suffered a severe leg fracture, while Michael Chandler, 37, ranked fifth in the UFC lightweight rankings, has not competed since last November, when he lost to “The Diamond” by rear-naked choke in the third round.
