UFC bantamweight number three Merab Dvalishvili is ready to test his mettle against former division champion Petr Yan, who has mentioned him as a potential contender.
The Georgian fighter announced his desire to share the octagon with the Russian on a social network, responding to a survey published by Jan.
“Fight with me, I’m always ready!” Dvalishvili wrote.
Earlier, Petr Yan, ranked second in the ranking, received a call from Marlon Vera, who also appears in the poll, and the third candidate to fight the Russian is Sean O’Malley, who defeated him by split decision at UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi.
Merab Dvalishvili extended his winning streak to eight matches in August, defeating the legendary Jose Aldo by unanimous decision.
