Merab Dvalishvili refused to speak Russian with Henry Sekhudo

Former UFC bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo pissed off his opponent Merab Dvalishvili by speaking Russian to the Georgian representative during the final face-off.

The funny incident took place at the UFC 298 weigh-in ceremony.

“Come on, come on, come on, come on, my friend, come on!”, – the American addressed Dvalishvili.

Not expecting such a turn, the Georgian fighter was clearly angry and announced that he was ready to speak to “Triple Champion” in Spanish.

It should be noted that before the fight against Peter Yana Dvalishvili tried to turn the confrontation with the Russian into a political issue, but did not get a reaction from his opponent.

A potential lightweight contender fight between Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Sehudo will be part of the main card of the numbered event, which takes place in Anaheim, USA, on Saturday night to Sunday, Moscow time.
