Now all the attention will be paid to sports?

Former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor is no longer the owner of Proper 12 whiskey company.

According to BloodyElbow, the Mexican company Becle, known for the production of Jose Cuervo tequila, completely bought out his brand from McGregor.

On February 23, a deal took place during which Becle bought out a 51% stake in Eire Born Spirits (founded by McGregor and his manager Audie Attar). Before that, Becle already had a 49 percent stake in the Proper 12 whiskey brand. So now the Mexicans have all 100 percent of the shares.

How much the deal cost was not reported.

Recall that McGregor founded his Proper 12 whiskey brand in September 2018 and was the main advertising face of the company.

McGregor last fought on January 24 at UFC 257, the Irishman was knocked out by Dustin Poirier.
