McGregor has rated Ngannou’s chances of fighting Fury

Former UFC two weight class champion, Conor McGregor, has shared his opinion on the upcoming boxing match between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury, which takes place today in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

“Francis has power,” the Irishman wrote on social media. “He has great knockout power and a puncher’s mentality. With that kind of power, anything can happen.”

“He has Mike Tyson in his corner, whose style can be kryptonite for a boxer like Tyson Fury who prefers to operate at long range. I think Mike has taught Francis how to shorten the distance, change the angle of attack and strike – that makes the upcoming fight even more interesting”

“From my point of view, Francis Ngannou is more of a kickboxer than a mixed martial artist. He’s more of a puncher than an MMA fighter. Like I said, he has a puncher’s mentality and that will help him in the fight. Any man can deliver a punch. Will Francis be able to handle that? I don’t know, but we’ll see very soon.”

The evening of boxing, the main event of which will be a ten-round heavyweight bout, will start at 21:00 Moscow time, and the main actors of the event, tentatively, will enter the ring around 01:00 Moscow time.
