Former UFC champion in two weight categories Irishman Conor McGregor agreed to fight with a Swedish fighter of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaev.
“Let him fight with Kamrat. It would be a great fight. Conor needs a lighter rookie to fight. For starters, it wouldn’t hurt him to just see if he can fight at all,” UFC fighter Nate Diaz wrote on his Twitter.
“No problem, s***,” McGregor replied.
Chimaev himself reacted to this correspondence with emoticons from two ninjas and a shaking hand.
Recall that McGregor continues to recover from a broken leg received in a fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.
Chimaev in the UFC had 10 fights and won 10 victories.
Let him fight kamrat that be a great fight to make
He needs a easy new guy to fight anyway he can taper back in and see if he can even still fight at all
