Boxing showman from the USA Jake Paul (5-0, 4 KOs) earlier shocked the public by saying that his goals in boxing are to win the title and fight against Mexican superstar Saul Canelo Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs).

Experts, colleagues in the ring and fans still do not rule out that sooner or later such a fight will take place. In the meantime, Canelo is vehemently opposed.

Coach Jeff Mayweather on the air Mayweather Channel made it clear that
doesn’t take seriously everything that the youtuber says: “Firstly, Canelo already has a fight – he fights in September with Gennady Golovkin. Secondly, does anyone take all this seriously? Anything can be said. You can even say that you will fight Muhammad Ali. He’s just hype. The kid has a coach who understands something in boxing. And he will never give the go-ahead to fight Canelo.”

Mayweather was asked if he was ready to bet on Paul if the fight with Canelo took place. They recalled the defeat of the Mexican Dmitry Bivol. The mentor burst out laughing and began to clown around: “What does Paul have in common with Bivol? Only Jake believes he has something like Bivol. Nobody else. All this is bullshit (laughs). You know, if Canelo really wanted to fight him, if someone sanctioned all this, then Saul could already walk and lick his lips – this is too easy money. But in fact, this fight will never happen. Yes, yes, it won’t, because Canelo is afraid of Paul (laughs).

Golovkin believes before the September fight that at 76.2 kg he will be more powerful. And the legendary Mexican, who conquered four divisions, made his own version of the top 10 best boxers in Mexico – and Canelo is not on the list.
