Max Holloway and Arnold Allen to headline the UFC

The featherweight bout between Max Holloway and Arnold Allen will be the main event of the UFC on April 15.

ESPN sportswriter Brett Okamoto announced the organization of the fight.

Former UFC champion Max Holloway ended his trilogy with Alexander Volkanovski in July last year, losing to the reigning title holder in a five-round unanimous decision. Prior to that, the 31-year-old American won decisions against Calvin Kattar and Yair Rodriguez, closing two title losses to Volkanovski.

Arnold Allen, 29, extended his UFC winning streak to ten matches in October with a second-round TKO over Calvin Kattar, who was unable to continue due to a knee injury. Seven months earlier, the Briton had already finished in the first round with a technical knockout of Dan Hooker, who decided to try his luck in the featherweight division.

Max Holloway and Arnold Allen are currently ranked #1 and #4 in the UFC featherweight division, respectively.
