A lightweight fight between Mateusz Gamrot and Rafael Dos Anjos will be part of UFC 299, which takes place March 9 in Miami.
Informed sources close to the situation reported about the organization of the fight.
Rafael Dos Ansom, 39, had his last fight at lightweight last July, losing by fifth-round knockout to Rafael Fisiev. Since then, the former UFC champion has fought twice in the welterweight division, finishing Brian Barberena by submision and losing by unanimous decision to Vicente Luque.
Mateusz Gamrot, 33, is riding a two-fight win streak, having won a split decision over Jalin Turner and defeated Rafael Fisieff by technical knockout, who was unable to continue the fight due to a knee injury in the second round.
The Pole and the Brazilian are currently ranked sixth and eleventh in the UFC lightweight division rankings, respectively.
