UFC No. 10 bantamweight Pedro Munoz will replace the injured Henry Cejudo and face Marlon Vera on August 19 at UFC 292 in Boston.

The organization of the fight was reported by informed sources close to the situation.

Pedro Munoz, 36, got his career back on track in April with a unanimous decision win over Chris Gutierrez. Prior to that, the Brazilian lost decisions to Jose Aldo and Dominic Cruz, and also could not continue the fight with Sean O’Malley due to a poke in the eye.

Marlon Vera, 30, snapped a four-fight streak in March, losing a split decision to Corey Sandhagen in five rounds. At the moment, the Ecuadorian fighter occupies the sixth line in the ranking of the lightest division of the UFC.
