Marlon Vera turned to Petr Yan after the cancellation of the fight with Henry Cejudo

The UFC bantamweight number six, Marlon Vera, reacted to the news that his fight against Henry Cejudo will not take place due to an injury to the American.

“Well f****,” the visibly frustrated Ecuadorian fighter declared in a four-second video posted to the social media.

Vera also turned to the Russian fighter Petr Yan, offering the former division champion to replace him.

“Jan, come out!” Vera wrote.

Earlier, Henry Cejudo published a video in which he announced a shoulder injury, and also made it clear that after recovery he does not plan to return to the fight with Marlon Vera, but expects to share the octagon with Merab Dvalishvili or Brandon Moreno.

The fight between Henry Cejudo and Marlon Vera was supposed to be part of the UFC 292 tournament, which will take place on August 19 in Boston.

Petr Yan suffered his third defeat in a row in March of this year, losing by unanimous decision to Merab Dvalishvili, and currently ranks fifth in the UFC bantamweight division ranking.
