Brazilian MMA fighter Marcio Santos, in an interview with SE, spoke about the meeting with Russian heavyweight Alexander Emelianenko the day after the fight in Syktyvkar.
“AMC Fight Nights and I gathered at a restaurant. All together, the whole team celebrated my victory, – said Santos “SE”. – Then we continued to drink a little in the hotel. In the morning I looked at the clock to go to breakfast. I was one of the first because I wanted to eat again.”
“I met with Emelianenko at breakfast. He came up, praised me, said that it was a good fight. I respect him a lot. Emelianenko is a good person, ”the athlete added.
Santos and Emelianenko headlined the AMC Fight Nights 106 tournament, which took place on November 27 in Syktyvkar. The Brazilian won by submission in the first round.
