Mairbek Khasiev: “Interest in MMA is declining. Disabled people are already fighting, soon they will fight from psychiatric hospitals”

ASA League President Mairbek Khasiev believes that interest in mixed martial arts has fallen.

“Interest is declining,” Khasiev said at an ASA press conference. – It is felt. Slightly, but the decrease is clearly there. People’s interest in this sport is falling. The fact that these all sorts of fights … one healthy against three little ones, the disabled are already fighting. As a specialist and as a doctor in this matter, I can say that in the near future for the use of the labor of these sick people, and these are sick people – below 93 cm a person is already considered disabled.

So, the state and social services will present a very large bill for the use of their labor. You can’t do that. Soon they will fight from psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric hospitals. This is silly. I see that several of these little boys are being promoted, they are adults in years, but from the outside they are children. This is dangerous, very dangerous. One fine day, someone will think of them for using the labor of sick people to attract. Be careful guys. And so – interest in MMA is declining.

The first ACA tournament of 2022 will take place on January 28. In the main event of ACA 135 in Grozny, Magomedrasul Gasanov and Abdul-Rakhman Dzhanaev will fight.
