A middleweight fight between Mahmud Muradov and Michel Pereira has been added to the card for UFC 301, which takes place May 4 in Rio de Janeiro.
The bout was officially announced by representatives of the organization.
Uzbekistan’s Mahmud Muradov, 34, got his career back on track last July after two consecutive losses to Brian Barberena by unanimous decision, and in December his fight against Aliaskhab Khizriev was ruled a no contest due to an accidental poke to the eye in the 11th second of the match.
Brazilian Michel Pereira, 30, is riding a seven-fight win streak, finishing Michal Oleksiychuk with a rear-naked choke in 61 seconds in his last fight.
As a reminder, the main event of UFC 301 will be a featherweight title fight between Alexandre Pantoja and Steve Erceg.
