O2 Arena, London, UK. As part of the show, two big men fought hard: Alen Babić (11-0, 10 KOs) from Croatia snatched victory from the Pole Adam Balski (16-2, 9 KOs) in the fight for the vacant WBC Silver belt in bridgerweight (up to 101.6 kg) .

Babich (as promised) immediately rushed to the attack, but Balsky’s counterhook blundered and ended up on the canvas.

The big man continued to launch wide swings, hitting quite a bit. The Pole was actively moving, but at times he was too passive and clinched. In the 2nd round, the big guys staged the wildest slugfest – the bombs flew past the target.

Balski constantly moved backwards. This pissed him off. Babich pinched the opponent at the ropes, forcing him to take the swing. The sluggers repeated the mischievous fight at the end of the 4th three-minute period – the Pole looked more accurate.

Due to pressure and activity, the Croat led the fight to victory. The Pole got especially hard in the 7th round – he was shocked 30 seconds before the gong, but he never fell. In the 8th three-minute period, the situation repeated itself. Balski misses too much, the referee is already there.

We have drama! The Pole found the strength to return to battle. But he earned a penalty for hitting after the gong. A very controversial episode.

Right on the bell…

The big guys gave out the final batch in the last seconds of the 10th round. Crazy fight! Let’s give this guy first place for fight of the year? 🙂
