Russian fighters Magomed Ismailov and Ivan Shtyrkov passed the official weigh-in procedure before the boxing match, which will take place on March 7 at the RCC Boxing tournament in Yekaterinburg.
Both participants of the six-round fight showed exactly 93 kilograms each, having no problems getting into the limit of the weight category stipulated by the contract.
The upcoming fight will be a kind of revenge – in December 2020, the “Bald Predator” defeated the “Ural Hulk” by unanimous decision in a duel according to the rules of mixed martial arts at the ACA 115 tournament in Moscow.
As for boxing experience, 36-year-old Ismailov scored two victories in the ring, defeating Nigerian Olanrewaja Durodola and Serbian Alexander Ilich by unanimous decisions, and 34-year-old Shtyrkov won by unanimous decision against his compatriot Ivan Smirnov.
