Magomed Ankalaev: “We will take what belongs to us!”

Russian fighter Magomed Ankalaev shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight against Pole Jan Blachowicz, which will play out for the vacant UFC light heavyweight championship belt.

“The day has come, which we have been waiting for so long – this Saturday we will show a very good, spectacular fight, and we will take what belongs to us,” Ankalaev said, answering questions from journalists in Las Vegas. “I went to this in small steps, did not choose my opponents, fought with everyone who was given to me in the UFC, and they had no other choice but to give me a fight for the belt”

“Ian is a good fighter, I can’t say anything bad about him, but this is my fight and my time – I will do everything to get a victory, take the belt and fulfill my dream. When I win the belt, I’m not going to leave – I will wait for anyone who wants to take the title from me and fight me. I’ll be here for a long time”

“I’m up for a tough fight. I think it will be very spectacular, because we both want the belt, and everyone will give everything one hundred percent. Blachowicz’s “legendary Polish might” doesn’t bother me. I’m not going to be afraid of his punches, I want to dominate and win this fight at any cost.”

Recall that the Russian-Polish title confrontation will be the main event of the UFC 282 tournament, which will be held on December 10 in Las Vegas.
