Magomed Ankalaev: “We are preparing, but the opponent can change”

Former UFC bantamweight title challenger Magomed Ankalaev, who is scheduled to fight Brazilian Johnny Walker, doesn’t rule out that his opponent could yet change.

“My next fight will take place on October 21. The opponent is Brazilian Johnny Walker,” Ankalaev said in a video published on social network. “We are preparing, we are working hard. It will be a very interesting fight. He has unconventional punches, but he is a very bright fighter who works the first number. That’s just to my advantage – I like to be attacked. We’ll be ready.”

“Preparation in general is going well, without injuries, the most important thing. We have sparring partners, we do not spare ourselves. So far we are not preparing for Walker – we don’t know exactly, the opponent can change. Closer to the fight, when a month is left, we will adjust to him and do our work under him”

Recall that the fight between Magomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker should be part of the tournament UFC 294, which will be held on October 21 in Abu Dhabi.
