On December 10, Leeds (England) hosted a boxing evening of Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing promotion company, the main event of which was the fight of the IBF world champion in featherweight (up to 57.2 kg) Briton Josh Warrington (31-2-1, 8 KOs) and Mexican challenger Luis Alberto Lopez (27-2, 15 KOs).
Lopez won on points by a majority vote, thus taking away the title from Warrington.
