Former world champion in featherweight and second featherweight, who is going to conquer the lightweight division (up to 61.2 kg), American Shakur Stevenson (19-0, 9 KOs) does not see, due to which the Ukrainian ex-champion Vasily Lomachenko (17-2, 11 KOs) can defeat the current undisputed champion of the category from the United States, Devin Haney (29-0, 15 KOs).
Recall that this fight is tentatively scheduled for May 20, although there are still not without problems.
“Lomachenko is too small for lightweight at this stage in my opinion. He continues to age and, as for me, looked terrible in his last fight, Shakur shares his observations. “I think Devin smokes it.” He will probably jab him throughout the fight, move a lot and add on the right. He outboxes Lomachenko. I just think Devin is too big and too fast for him.”
Bob Arum recently revealed what would happen if Lomachenko beat Haney.
