A big night of boxing kicks off in the Saudi capital of Riyadh on December 23, where Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol, who holds the WBA light-heavyweight title, will go into a unification fight with Britain’s Lyndon Arthur, who holds the IBO belt.
The bout, billed as the show’s third event, is the only title clash of the event, the main fights of which will be matches featuring former world heavyweight boxing champions Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.
Should Anthony Joshua manage to defeat Sweden’s Otto Wallin and Deontay Wilder get past New Zealand’s Joseph Parker, the American and the Brit will share the ring on March 9 in Riyadh.
Another Russian competitor on the show will be Arslanbek Makhmudov, who will share the ring with Germany’s Agit Kabayel.
The event will be fully streamed live on the streaming platforms DAZN and OKKO Sportsand at 23:35 Russian fans will be able to watch the fight between Dmitry Bivol and Lyndon Arthur for free on “First” channel.
