Mayweather Promotions American promoter Leonard Ellerbee gave
interview for representatives of local media at an open training session of US lightweight Rolando Romero (14-0, 12 KOs), who will face WBA World champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis (26-0, 24 KOs) on May 28.
Speaking to reporters, the promoter accused his colleague Eddie Hearn of Matchroom of wasting the entire budget of the DAZN streaming “billion dollar project”. Ellerbee believes that Hearn has not created a single boxing star in the United States for the money spent on streaming. It also went to the top lightweight fighters.
