The fights will take place in 2023
Former world champion in five boxing weight categories Floyd Mayweather in talks with former mixed martial arts (UFC) champion Conor McGregor about two fights.
It is reported that the first battle is planned to be held according to the rules of boxing, and the second – mixed martial arts.
The prize fund is 1.5 billion dollars, which will be a world record. The fights are expected to take place in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and Saudi Arabia in 2023.
Both fights will be official and their results will be included in the service records of the fighters.
If the fights take place and the contract is signed, then Mayweather will fight under the rules of mixed martial arts for the first time.
Mayweather defeated McGregor by TKO in the 10th round in 2017.
