On the night of February 25-26, a boxing evening will take place in Minneapolis (USA), the main event of which will be a duel for the vacant IBF light welterweight (up to 63.5 kg) world title between Puerto Rican Subriel Matias (18-1, 18 KOs) and Argentine Jeremias Ponce (30-0, 20 KOs).

Today, the official weigh-in of the participants of the show took place.

Headliners showed almost identical weight: 63.2 kg with Matthias and 63.3 kg at Ponce.

In the second most important fight, welterweights (up to 66.7 kg) American Jamal James (27-2, 12 KOs) and Alberto Palmetta (18-1, 13 KOs) from Argentina will meet.

Also, as part of the main card, a 10-round fight between representatives of the weight category up to 63.5 kg, Dominican Elvis Rodriguez (13-1-1, 12 KOs) and Joseph Adorno (17-1-2, 14 KOs) from the USA, is planned.

Here, too, the difference is minimal: 63.4 kg at Rodriguez and 63.5 kg at Adorno.

Before that, for the first time after the first defeat in his career, having missed the whole of 2022, the Uzbek Kudratillo Abdukakhorov (18-1, 10 KOs) will enter the ring, whose opponent in a 10-round fight in the welterweight (up to 66.7 kg) will be the American V Sean Owens (13-3, 12 KOs).
