Khamzat Chimaev responded to Jiri Prochazka's challenge

Four-year-old sparring between Khamzat Chimaev and Jiri Prochazka may continue this summer in the cage of the strongest league in the world.

Another round of showdown was provoked by an interview of a Chechen fighter with journalist Ariel Helvani, in which Borz again mentioned the experience of joint training with the former UFC champion, and the Czech light heavyweight made it clear that he was ready to close this issue once and for all in the octagon.

“The man keeps bringing up four years old information over and over again,” Prochaska said in a video posted to the social media. “Internal information of the club. Dude, next time we meet in a cage, I’ll show you my true power. No more easy work. Don’t talk too much about other people.”

Chimaev, in response, showed a correspondence with Prokhazka, in which he offered a potential opponent to fight in the summer of this year.

“See you soon, boy. Respect. Let’s fight in Sweden. June or July,” Chimaev wrote, noting the leadership of the organization.

At the moment, Jiri Prochazka continues to recover from a shoulder injury, due to which he had to vacate the UFC light heavyweight title, and Khamzat Chimaev planned to fight in the middleweight category after Ramadan.
