The popular Chechen fighter Khamzat Chimaev did not disregard the statement of Jorge Masvidal, who reproached Borz for challenging UFC middleweight champion Alex Pereira, having failed to cope with the weight race in the previous fight.
“Jorge Masvidal is no longer a gangster because he talks about weight classes. It doesn’t matter for a gangster what weight to fight in,” Chimaev wrote on a social network, quoting an American.
Recall that Jorge Masvidal will fight his next fight on April 8 at UFC 287 in Miami against Gilbert Burns, and Khamzat Chimaev, according to rumors, may meet with Paulo Costa on October 21 at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi.
Currently, Khamzat Chimaev and Jorge Masvidal occupy the third and eleventh lines in the UFC welterweight rankings, respectively.
