Khamzat Chimaev reacted to the fight between Imavov and Dolidze

No. 9 ranked UFC middleweight, Khamzat Chimaev, did not ignore the fight between Roman Dolidze and Nassurdin Imavov, in which the French-born Dagestani won a convincing victory.

“Nassurdin, congratulations to you, my brother!” the Chechen fighter wrote on social media, posting a photo from the fight.

The middleweight fight, which headlined UFC Fight Night 235 in Las Vegas, went the full distance and ended in a 49-44, 47-47 and 48-46 majority decision victory for Imavov, with referee Herb Dean controversially taking points off the French fighter in the fourth round for an illegal kick to the head.

It should be noted that before the fight Roman Dolidze, ranked eighth in the division, criticized Hamzat Chimaev, saying that “Borz” undeservedly occupies a place in the middleweight rankings, and also promised to challenge the Chechen after his victory over Imavov.

A few days earlier, Khamzat Chimaev made it clear to his fans that he had reached an agreement with the management of the world’s strongest league about his next fight, which could take place on April 13 at UFC 300 in Las Vegas.
