Khamzat Chimaev named the date of his next fight

The UFC’s No. 9 ranked middleweight, Khamzat Chimaev, plans to compete at UFC 300, which takes place April 13 in Las Vegas.

The Chechen fighter announced this in the social network, publishing his own photo with the number 300.

Borz is likely going to face the winner of the title fight between Sean Strickland and Dricus Du Plessis at the anniversary event, which will headline UFC 297 in Toronto on January 20.

Earlier, Chimaev said that the management of the world’s strongest league guaranteed him a title shot, while Strickland mentioned that he is ready to return to the octagon at UFC 300 if he successfully defends the belt.

Khamzat Chimaev, 29, knows no defeats and is riding a seven-fight win streak in the UFC, most recently winning a majority decision over former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman in his last fight.
