Khabib Nurmagomedov reacted to the series “Word of a Patsan”

The rapidly gaining popularity of the Russian TV series “Word of a Patsan” did not leave indifferent and former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, who addressed in social network to the performer of one of the main roles, actor Ivan Yankovsky, who played Vova “Adidas”.

The corresponding correspondence was published in the social network by the actor’s mother, Russian actress Oksana Fandera.

As it turned out, in 2016, Ivan Yankovsky sent the undefeated Russian fighter a message admiring his victory over American Michael Johnson, and received a response from his idol seven years later.

“You are the best! We all know it! Amazing fighter! There is no one like you at all,” Jankowski wrote at the time.

“Now you’re cooler,” The Eagle replied to him a few days ago.

The series “Patsan’s Word,” which tells the story of youth groups in Kazan in the late 1980s, has already caused a storm of discussion on social networks and split Russian society into two camps – some demand its ban, citing the fact that the picture romanticizes violence and is a kind of analogue of “Brigada,” while others, on the contrary, admire its realism, exciting plot and actors’ performance.
