Former UFC fighter Kevin Lee has signed a contract with the Eagle FC promotion, owned by former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, journalist Ariel Helvane tweeted.
Lee has been in the UFC since 2014, with 11 wins and 7 losses. In total, he has 18 wins and 7 losses in MMA.
In 2017, Lee fought Tony Ferguson for the interim UFC lightweight title but was defeated in the third round.
In August of this year, Lee lost to Daniel Rodriguez, in October he failed an amphetamine test, was suspended for six months, and then fired from the UFC.
On January 28, Eagle FC will hold the first tournament in the USA – in Miami.
