A welterweight fight between Kevin Holland and Jack Della Maddalena has been added to the card for UFC Fight Night 227, which takes place Sept. 16 in Las Vegas.
The matchup was reported by ESPN.
American Kevin Holland, 30, goes on a streak of two early wins, knocking out Santiago Ponzinibbio and finishing Michael Chiesa by choke.
Jack Della Maddalena, 26, has reeled off five straight victories in the UFC, winning a split decision over the organization’s newest recruit Basil Hafez in his most recent bout, taking the fight on short notice. Prior to that, the Australian had defeated four opponents in the world’s strongest league, finishing all of them in the first round.
Kevin Holland and Jack Della Maddalena are currently ranked twelfth and fourteenth in the UFC welterweight rankings, respectively.
