The bantamweight bout between Kai Kara-France and Manel Cape has been added to the card of the UFC 293 tournament, which will take place on September 9 in Sydney.
ESPN sportswriter Brett Okamoto announced the organization of the fight.
30-year-old New Zealander Kai Cara-France suffered two defeats in a row, losing by technical knockout to Brandon Moreno in the bout for the interim title, and by a split decision to Amir Albazi.
The 29-year-old native of Angola, Manel Cape, by contrast, is on a three-fight streak, knocking out Audie Osborne and Zhalgas Zhumagulov, as well as winning a split decision against David Dvorak.
Currently, Kai Kara-France and Manel Cape are ranked fifth and ninth in the UFC flyweight division, respectively.
