The President of AMC Fight Nights, Kamil Gadzhiev, commented on the statement of the head of the ACA League, Mairbek Khasiev, who approached the leadership of the UFC and Bellator with a proposal to hold a joint grand prix between the best fighters of the organizations.
“This confrontation is impossible,” Hajiyev said in another video posted on his YouTube channel. “You can hype on it – this, in principle, is done by those who talk about it. It’s not possible because the UFC doesn’t need it at all. The UFC is the number one league in the world. Why, being the undisputed number one in the whole world, engage in a duel and risk that your hegemony will be shaken. The UFC will never do this in their lives.”
“Bellator has a similar situation. In the understanding of the vast majority of people, they are league number two. Why would they fight the guys from the ACA who are very likely to beat them? Therefore, it is impossible. We would see good quality fights, but we won’t see them.”
Recall that two weeks before Mairbek Khasiev’s statement, information was officially confirmed about negotiations between the ACA and AMC Fight Nights leagues, which are expected to result in the takeover of the organization headed by Kamil Gadzhiev.
