President of AMC Fight Nights, Kamil Hajiyev, does not plan to cheer for Alexander Usik in the upcoming fight of the Ukrainian against the British Tyson Fury, which will determine the absolute world champion in heavyweight boxing.
“Fury and Usik signed a contract – a bomb fight, personally I will not miss it,” said Gadzhiev in another video published on his Youtube channel. “Yes, I’ll be honest, the attitude towards Usik has changed. If earlier in the Fury-Usik fight I would have been rooting for Usik, now I’m rooting for Fury. Sanya disappointed me, as a person, he was in the wrong place. But it’s a great fight – it’s a fight between the two main heavyweights”
According to the official announcement, the fight between Fury and Usik will take place on December 23 or early January in Saudi Arabia, however, before that “Gypsy King” will have time to get in the ring against former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, a fight with whom is scheduled for October 28.
In the confrontation with the Cameroonian, the British boxer will not risk his WBC title, which he will put on the line in the fight with the Ukrainian.
