Former world welterweight champion Jeff Horne wants his compatriot Australian George Kambosos (20-1, 10 KOs) to activate the rematch clause for an immediate second fight with current undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney (28-0, 15 KOs) . In his opinion, George is capable of winning.
Last Sunday, Haney outboxed Kambosos quite easily and took all the titles – WBO, WBC, IBF and WBA.
“I think George should take part in the rematch,” Horne said.

“George can certainly beat Haney, but he will have to come up with a different plan for the fight to have any hope of winning. I have no doubt that George will want another chance later this year,” Jeff added.

He says Kambosos should use the same tactics that Horn used to defeat Filipino star Manny Pacquiao.
