Kamaru Usman: “I will break Edwards’ will and take his soul”

Kamaru Usman:

Former UFC welterweight title holder Kamaru Usman has no doubt that in a rematch with Leon Edwards he will score a dominant victory and regain the championship belt.

“Kicking was his only weapon that worked,” Usman told The Pivot Podcast. “It was just a good hit and I take my hat off to him, but he forgot about the four rounds that came before that hit. He forgot that I took his soul – I must remind him of this and be the one to take it twice.

“Mentally, nothing has changed for me. This is the same guy that I beat in one gate. This time it will be even more difficult for him, because I am going to break his will, courage and take his soul.

Recall that the welterweight title fight between Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards will be the main event of the UFC 286 tournament, which will be held on March 18 in London.
