UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman believes that Colby Covington looked weaker in their rematch than in the first fight.
“Colby had a much better first fight because at the time I was too eager to fight him. And the conflict in the first fight was much sharper, because we had not yet fought, there was intrigue,” Usman said on the Full Send Podcast YouTube channel.
On November 7, Usman defeated Covington via unanimous decision at UFC 268 in New York. In their first fight in December 2019, the Nigerian knocked out an opponent in the 5th round.
