British heavyweight Joe Joyce (14-0, 13 KOs) called compatriot Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) a “glass cannon” – and is ready to pile on him if he defeats unified champion Oleksandr Usyk in rematch on August 20.
The Briton admires Joshua’s striking power, but believes that he does not hold back hits well.
“Before Ruiz, he looked invincible, and no one could beat him,” Joe recalls the undefeated Joshua. “The way he flew into Andy definitely changed people’s minds, opened their eyes to Joshua. It looks a bit like a glass cannon. When attacking, he has excellent attack and power. But as far as defense is concerned, his “beard” has already been tested several times by Klitschko, Ruiz and even White. It is shown that he can be “wounded”.
