Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua of England has declined to comment on how he thinks Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury could go for No. 1 status in the over 90.7 kg division. The Ukrainian, we recall, outboxed him twice, and he never agreed with his countryman on a mega fight at the end of 2022.

The Briton believes that the Usyk-Fury fight will still take place: “The whole division has been waiting for this for the last four or five years, the path to the absolute. So hopefully they can come to an agreement.”

However, when asked what he thought would happen in the ring, Joshua hesitated.

“I don’t really want to discuss it. My name says a lot, I don’t need to talk about anyone else. It’s not something a man should do,” said AJ
iFL TV.

When the interviewer tried to insist – what, they say, is there such a thing as expressing one’s opinion? Anthony stayed where he was.

“No, I won’t talk about others. Good luck to both of them. I don’t feel comfortable discussing other people’s business, so all the best to them. I have my own opinion, but I don’t really want to express it on camera so that other people have their own opinion about my opinion. I can chat with you about this duel, but it will just be my conversation with you; I’m not here to express my opinion to the whole world, ”explained Joshua.

A potential Usyk-Fury superfight will take place (presumably) at the end of April. How Usyk beat Fury, the British coach knows.
