British promoter Eddie Hearn spoke about the upcoming rematch of his ward and compatriot, ex-world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) and WBA / WBO / IBF title holder Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) ), which will be held on August 20 in Saudi Arabia.

Eddie believes that Joshua should be more active, bothering Usyk more often with punches. And in this he should be helped by the experience of the first battle, which lasted the entire 36-minute distance.

Recall that in September last year, Alexander in England outboxed Anthony by unanimous decision.

“Joshua needs to give more free rein to his hands, he needs to damage Oleksandr Usyk at every opportunity and knock him out of the rhythm,” Hearn says in an interview with DAZN. “I don’t think Usyk likes to take punches and I don’t think he liked Joshua hitting him in the first fight, but he didn’t miss much either.”

“In general, Anthony should use his chances when they come to him, he should be smarter, and he needs to give free rein. I believe the rematch will be much more exciting than the first fight, because Joshua spent all 12 rounds (in the ring with Usyk), the functionary noted. – He understands skills and knows Usyk’s attributes, and must negate them with his virtues, namely power, speed, and combinations of punches. It’s easier said than done, of course, but I definitely think you’ll see a more aggressive Anthony Joshua in the rematch.”

Today there was a tough duel of looks between Usyk and Joshua: a tense video.
