Jones on Ghana: ‘He is very unique, but the world is not ready for such a unique heavyweight that I will be’

Former UFC light heavyweight champion and leader in the ranking of fighters regardless of weight categories, American Jon Jones shared his opinion about Cyril Gan as a potential opponent.

“I think he is quite unique for a heavyweight,” Jon Jones tweeted. “But I don’t think the world is ready for the unique heavyweight that I will be. I believe my experience at light heavyweight will play an important role in my future fights.”

Gan is the Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion with a professional record of 10-0. In January at UFC 270, the Frenchman will fight for the belt of the undisputed champion with former teammate Francis Ngannou.

On account of Jones 26 wins, 1 loss and another fight declared invalid. In the past, the fighter has long been in the status of the best fighter on the planet.
