Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones, who is returning to the octagon after a three-year hiatus, is not at all opposed to his former opponent Daniel Cormier commenting on his fight against Cyril Gan.
“DC, I will be more than happy if you comment on my fight – I think you are very good at what you do,” Jones wrote on the social network, referring to Cormier. “I believe you will be open-minded. I wish you all the best, brother”
Moreover, Jones is ready to give Cormier the first interview after the fight.
“Whoever wants to do this, I don’t mind at all. I feel like I’m in a new chapter of my life and let the past stay in the past.”
Recall that the fight for the vacant UFC heavyweight championship belt between Jon Jones and Cyril Gan will headline the UFC 285 tournament, which will be held on March 4 in Las Vegas.
