Jon Jones puzzled fans with a series of disturbing messages

Reigning UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones posted a series of posts on social media, leaving fans seriously wondering if he’s back to experimenting with mind-altering drugs.

“Don’t Kill Me”

“And don’t kill yourself”

“Nice chat”

“Shall we erase this year?”

“Suck ***”

Messages published within half an hour were soon deleted, but did not go unnoticed by the fans:

Jon Jones in his style. Two or three days of drinking, and the phase of delirium begins ”

Some suggested that the American fighter’s account was hacked:

“Looks like someone hacked into his account. Very strange messages have been posted. Foul language and disturbing statements. It can’t come from Jon Jones!”

Three weeks ago, Jon Jones successfully resumed his career after a three-year hiatus, finishing Frenchman Cyril Gan’s guillotine in two minutes to win the vacant UFC heavyweight championship belt. The next opponent of the American should be his compatriot Stipe Miocic, a fight with whom is tentatively scheduled for this summer.
