Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, who has not entered the octagon for almost three years, this year plans not only to return to business, but also to win the UFC heavyweight championship belt.
“Champion 2023,” the American fighter wrote on the social network.
At the end of last year, there was information that the title fight between Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones should head the UFC 285 tournament in Las Vegas on March 4, however, so far the representatives of the organization have not made any official statements about this.
Jon Jones, 35, last fought in February 2020 with a unanimous decision win over Dominick Reyes, while Francis Ngannou, 36, successfully unified the current and interim UFC heavyweight titles a year ago with a unanimous decision win over Cyril Gan.
