Outrageous John Fury – the father of WBC British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) – attacked promoter Eddie Hearn with reproaches (Matchroom Boxing). John accuses the businessman of being allegedly to blame for the disruption of negotiations for a fight between Tyson Fury and his compatriot Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs).

The parties tried to agree on bringing the current and former champions together in early December in Cardiff (Wales), but nothing came of them. It’s funny how both teams blame each other for the lack of feedback.

fury father
declared: “I even feel sorry for Joshua. I would not like to have such a manager. As far as I remember, this dude blew Anthony the opportunity to earn 120 million pounds. Yes, Joshua would have been beaten for the third time in a row, but that’s it… I wouldn’t want this Hearn to be my manager or my fighters’ manager…”

“How many millions? —
smiling Hearn and strikes back. – Let’s do this. You give us half of the declared amount in advance, and we immediately sign the contract. Joshua will fight next on December 17th. I will not voice the names of potential opponents, since immediately after that they begin to significantly inflate their price. But it will be a normal fight, not a mismatch with Manuel Charr (who is being matched with Fury’s opponents).”

Fury the father nevertheless decided to explain where he got this amount from. It turns out that 15 million is the compensation that Joshua offered to allow the champions Fury and Alexander Usik to determine the absolute. During this time, Anthony could have held an interim fight and earn about 30 million more. The rest, apparently, is an approximate fee for the December fight with Fury.

Fury has previously confirmed that the fight against Joshua has finally been derailed. And poor Hearn now and then has to fend off attacks – this is how he responded to the accusations of colleague Bob Arum.
