UFC commentator and host of one of the most popular podcasts in the world, Joe Rogan, was delighted with the performance of Russian boxer Artur Beterbiev, who successfully defended his WBC, IBF and WBO light heavyweight titles over the weekend in a confrontation with Britain’s Anthony Yarde.

“Congratulations to the great and mighty Artur Beterbiev, who is the most destructive force in boxing,” the American wrote on the social network. “The record is 19-0 with 19 knockouts. WBC, IBF and WBO light heavyweight champion

Rogan also said who he sees as Beterbiev’s next opponent.

“I really hope that he and Dmitry Bivol can meet in the ring this year,” he added.

The title fight between Beterbiev and Yard, which took place at the Wembley Arena in London, ended with the victory of the 38-year-old Russian by technical knockout in the eighth round after the Briton was knocked down and his corner refused to continue the fight.

Beterbiev’s compatriot Dmitry Bivol, 32, who owns the WBA light heavyweight championship belt, defended his title twice last year in confrontations with the Mexicans Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Gilberto Ramirez, whom he defeated by unanimous decisions.
