Former UFC strawweight champion Jessica Andrade will replace the injured Virna Yandiroba and face Tatiana Suarez on August 5 at UFC on ESPN 50 in Nashville.
Representatives of the organization officially announced the replacement in the fight, which will become the second most important event of the event.
Undefeated Tatiana Suarez resumed her career in February this year after more than a three-year hiatus, finishing with a second-round guillotine choke against Montana De La Rosa. Prior to this, the 32-year-old American won five more victories in the UFC, three of which she got ahead of schedule.
Brazil’s Jessica Andrade, 31, will try to get her career back on track after two consecutive stoppage losses, succumbing to a rear naked choke from Erin Blanchfield and a knockout to Xiaonan Yang.
