On the night of June 18-19 in Houston (USA), the WBC middleweight champion (up to 72.6 kg) American Jermall Charlo (32-0, 22 KOs) will defend his title in a duel against the Polish middle peasant Maciej Sulecki (30 -2, 11 KOs).

Realizing that such an event cannot be promoted, no matter how hard you try, Charlo decided to declare that he was ready not only for Sulecki, but in general for anyone. Even named a few recognizable names.

“I am ready, ready for everything. Let them give me whoever they want. Sulecki, Munguia, Benavidez – it doesn’t matter. A name is just a name. For me, it’s just a person, says a-Charlo. – I’m at the peak, in the juice, and ready for any opponent. Whoever is put up against me, I’ll just do what I have to do and make the necessary adjustments to win.”

We add that for Jermall this will be the fifth title defense, and Sulecki will try to become a champion for the second time: in 2019, the Pole was defeated on points by Demetrius Andred.

As recently as April, Charlo and Benavidez almost had a mahach during the Spence-Ugas show: video.
