Jan Blachowicz promises to knockout Aleksandar Rakic

Former UFC bantamweight champion, Jan Blachowicz, is set to truly knock out Aleksandar Rakic in two months, whom he won by technical knockout last May due to a knee injury suffered by the Austrian fighter.

“I think it’s going to be like our first fight, but this time I’m just going to knock him out,” the Polish fighter told MiddleEasy. “It will be a clean knockout – he won’t have anything to say after that.”

After defeating Rakic, Blachowicz is looking for a rematch with the division’s reigning champion, Alex Pereira, to whom he lost by split decision this past July.

“They should have given the win to me. It was a split decision and I believe the judges gave a bad verdict. Now I have to get a rematch and if everything is perfect, my next fight will be against Pereira.”

As a reminder, the bantamweight bout between Jan Blachowicz and Aleksandar Rakic will take place on January 20 at UFC 297 in Toronto.
