Jamal Hill addressed Magomed Ankalaev

Former UFC bantamweight titleholder Jamal Hill has reached out to Magomed Ankalaev, who challenged current division champion Alex Pereira following his win over Johnnie Walker.

“That’s some weird logic,” the American said in another video posted on his Youtube channel. “I understand, Mohammed, that you’re pursuing your goals – you want your dream to come true, so you need another title shot and you’re hungry. Bro, but that’s not very smart – you’re not doing anything flashy or memorable, and from the looks of it, you don’t even understand what the rules are. You can’t knee people in the head on the ground, and you’re constantly hitting your opponents in the back of the head. All this proves once again that you don’t have a very high IQ.”

The fight between Magomed Ankalaev and Johnnie Walker, which headlined UFC Fight Night 234 on Jan. 13 in Las Vegas, ended in the second round with a TKO victory for the Russian.

Jamal Hill won the vacant UFC bantamweight championship belt early last year by defeating Glover Teixeira by unanimous decision, but the American was forced to vacate the title as early as July after tearing his Achilles tendon while playing basketball.
